Welcome to the Women's Development Connection!!  If you are looking for ways to connect with other women in the greater Des Moines area, check us out!!  Our organization started in 1920 as the Des Moines Women's Group, reorganized in the mid 1900's as the Women's Chamber Alliance and recently became the Women's Development Connection (WDC) in 2008. VISION STATEMENT The vision of the Women’s Development Connection is to be the premier professional women’s organization in the Greater Des Moines area. MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to connect, educate, encourage, support and promote women in the Greater Des Moines area.  WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE We take pride in our unique membership, which is comprised of women in varying business walks. Our members are business owners, working mothers, executives, recent graduates, professionals, retirees, and entrepreneurs coming together to learn and grow with each other. Foster personal and professional growth through:  Monthly meetings  Networking events  Speaker sponsor opportunities Expand awareness of business and social issues affecting our world and communities today.  Annual Professional Development Forum designed to educate our members, raise funds for charitable causes, and increase community awareness of our organization.  Connect professionals with new business contacts through interactions with members from a wide variety of businesses and backgrounds.
